Description

We will start our visit though Fatima, the place where our lady of Fatima appeared in 1917. After religion, we will head to Batalha, The monastery of Batalha is a truly remarkable place and one of the biggest examples of Portugal´s late gothic architecture. Vowed to be built on the site of the Royal Battle, this monastery was constructed to celebrate the victory of the Portuguese troops in the 1385 Battle of Aljubarrota. After this, we will head to Nazare to a deserved lunch break. Here you will have the chance to taste the freshest seafood. Nazare is one of the most famous fishing villages in Portugal. In Obidos we can have a time to walk around and be surprised by the picturesque and colorful little houses on this villages, the views from the top of the walls are just amazing, the little churches and houses kept in its original sate. We will have the typical "Ginginha" on a chocolate cup a very traditional form of drinking this delicacy.
