Description

In this private day trip from Lisbon, our goal is to escape the famous touristic routes, and visit smaller and local producers close to Óbidos, one of the Portuguese historical pearls and an excellent wine region. The wine experience includes the visit to beautiful vineyards, an old distillery, a pressing-room with stone, manual winepresses dating from 1871 and an aging cellar of liquor wines and brandies with 36 barrels. And of course, a wine tasting with 6 different wines. We'll also visit the cellars of the only Portuguese Brandy with an exclusive demarcated region. Moreover, there are only two more regions like this in the world: the famous Cognac and Armagnac, in France! And of course, we'll be able to taste it! In addition, we'll visit the romantic Óbidos village, the most picturesque and well preserved wall town in Portugal, nowadays considered the city of literature by Unesco.
