It was commissioned by King Manuel I around 1501, shortly after Vasco da Gama's return. - Perched high on the riverbank in Belém, this massive monument was built in 1960 to mark the 500th anniversary of the death of Henry the Navigator. - This coach collection is probably the best in Europe.
