Description

Stunning landscapes and intense flavors in a still rural region, sought after for the creamy cheeses and prestigious wines. Palmela is the first stop of the tour. We will visit its castle touching the sky, with a breathtaking view. Next is Azeitao, in the heart of Arrabida Natural Park, marked by a landscape of olive trees, vineyards and cork oaks. Time to enjoy the taste of the famous Azeitao’ s Pies and cheeses and the visit to the historic José Maria da Fonseca or Bacalhoa Cellars that produce the Periquita, Moscatel and 40 other brands of local wines. The tour continues towards Sesimbra, a fishermen’s village, with magical cobbled stone streets and alleys. But the best of the ride is yet to come… crossing the Serra of Arrabida, where the green of the mountain and the blue of the ocean meander in our eyes. Finally, we will arrive in Setubal, bathed by the only river in Portugal that flows from south to north, the Sado. In the distance, we will see the wonderful beach of Troia.
