Description
St. Anthony is the oldest life monastery (Coptic Orthodox) in the world, dated back to the 4th century, which lies in the nowhere in between the mountains of the Red Sea, about 3 hours drive from Hurghada. We will be able to see the oldest church, historic icons, the monks cells, the water creek ”spring”, the monastery farm and the towers which they used to lift people from outside the monastery into inside.
