In this private lesson, you will receive extensive one-on-one instruction from a professional surf instructor.Your excursion starts with a 20-minute land lesson, where you will learn proper water safety and etiquette, paddling technique, turning the surfboard, maneuvering over waves and positioning to stand up and ride your first wave. The rest of the time is spent in the water learning to stand and ride waves!Our surfing school is the premier operator in Hawaii, with a team of Lifeguards and CPR-trained instructors and safety guides, all totally dedicated to an enriched Hawaiian surfing experience, and to providing a great adventure for the beginner, intermediate, and advanced surfer.We provide all of the equipment necessary for the lesson: surfboard, rash guard lycras, and reef shoes. Join us for this once-in-a-lifetime thrill surfing in Hawaii!Please Note: This tour departs from a surf shop, which is a 10- minute taxi ride (not included) from the pier. Specific directions will be provided in your e-ticket.This is not a transfer tour. Tour does not drop off at the airport. Tour vehicle cannot accommodate luggage.
