Jezreel Valley A day tour along the Jezreel Valley following the bible We’ll start the day at Megiddo National Park, most notably known as the place of the final battle of Armageddon from the Book of Revelation. Megiddo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was one of the oldest, most important cities in the kingdom of ancient Israel. From the Israeli gate, we’ll head up the archaeology tell and through the Cnaani gate.we’ll see the temples, stables, wheat silos, and the ancient water system. We’ll continue to Tel Jezreel known from the biblical story of Naboth’s vineyard. From there, we’ll visit the Ma’ayan Harod National Park, where Gideon, the judge, chose his warriors to fight against the Midianites. We’ll leave for Beit She’an, where we’ll visit the Roman city with its theatre, baths, and the city remains. The city was destroyed and abandoned after an earthquake.We’ll head back and drive along the Gilboa mountain range for a spectacular view of the Jezreel Valley and northern Samaria.
