Calafia Valley Wine Country Country Check out two prominent Mexican wine makers on this Calafia Valley tour. Calafia Valley, known for its delicious wines, is a must-see for any wine lover. Enjoy wine tastings and more throughout this unique wine country tour. Your Ensenada wine country tour begins with a 45-minute drive to the destination. Throughout the ride, you'll learn about Ensenada's past and its culture from your knowledgeable guide. The first stop on the Ensenada wine country tour is Dona Lupe. This family-owned winery is renowned for much more than its premier wines. Expect to try more than 30 kinds of fruit jams, cheese, bread, olive pate, over 10 cream liqueurs, jalapeno dip, avocado dip, and more than 10 different cream cheese mixes, such as strawberry, chipotle, mango, and others. You'll spend about an hour and 15 minutes at this winery before proceeding to the next. The second Ensenada winery on this excursion is L.A. Cetto, which dates back all the way to the 1920s. While visiting, you'll be treated to a walking tour of the location and witness the wine-making process. There will be a wine and cheese tasting here as well. After this stop, you'll ride through the countryside and return to the ship. If you decide to stay in the area after the final Ensenada winery stop, you will need to get your own transportation back to the ship.
