Description
This is the best scenery you'll get in a one day tour from Edinburgh. We’ll take you north-west from Edinburgh, via Loch Lomond and a mountain pass called the Rest and Be Thankful to the West Highlands of Scotland. There's a short, flat walk to a ruined castle where you might see some of Scotland's famous Highland Cows. We'll stop for lunch in the town of Oban, Scotland's seafood capital. You can have a relaxing pub lunch or eat from a rustic but fabulous seafood shack. In the afternoon, we'll take you to the most famous valley in Scotland - Glencoe. Here, you can join us on an optional walk for 45 minutes. If you don't want to walk, you could take more time in Oban for some shopping, it's up to you. Finally, we’ll drive you back to your hotel in Edinburgh.
