The duration of the tour includes the pickup and drop off times.
The mosque is open to visitors every day from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, the timing will be from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM. The mosque is closed to tourists on certain dates and is usually communicated by the authorities only a few days through prior notice. Also, the Grand Mosque shall remain closed during any Islamic festival, as per the UAE law.
The tour does not operate on Fridays during the Holy month of Ramadan.
Women must wear long loose clothing, ensuring their arms and legs are fully covered. Women are also required to cover their heads at all times. For the mosque visit, the company will provide a long, local Abaya with the scarf (long black dress-attire) for women if needed, which must be returned back. Men must not show above their knees and cover their shoulders. Tattoos need to be covered. Failure to do so will result in refusal of entry. The company does not provide any kind of clothes to men.
Infants under 3 years, people with neck pain and back pain and pregnant ladies are strictly prohibited from dune bashing adventure. (If any of these conditions are present for you, please contact our consultant and customize your tour)
You are advised to wear casual loose clothing for desert safari.
It is recommended not to eat 2-3 hours before the safari trip to avoid any kind of vomiting/ sickness during the dune bashing session.
Please do not go for henna painting if you have sensitive skin towards henna.
During the Holy month of Ramadan, you will be entertained by Tanoura and Fire shows in our desert camp (Al Khayma) as there will be some restrictions for Belly Dance. On other religious holidays, there will not be any entertainment activities in the camps as per the UAE law. The dates shall be announced by the government authorities a few days/weeks prior to the event/day.
