Among the few unique forested lands, Udzungwa has a biological diverse forest, harbouring exotic plant species found nowhere else in the world, which makes it are the most attracting of the forest park. The indigenous species of primates, the Iringa red colobus monkey and the Sanje Crested Mangabey, not known until 1979 are among the attractions.
