Description
This popular 3-day tour allows you to experience the old city of Saint Louis, the first city to be created by the Europeans in French West Africa. As a UNESCO world heritage site, Saint Louis is still preserving much of its 19th century architecture. However, the old city reminds you a lot of New Orleans with its French influence and wood balconies lining the narrow streets. A city tour on horse-drawn carriage will allow you to explore some of city s best known landmarks built in the mid 19th century. A 2-hour drive from the old city takes us to LOMPOUL desert. Possibility of Camel ride. A lifetime overnight experience will allow you to enjoy the calmness and quietness in tradiditional tents with modern facilities in the middle of the desert. After breakfast, we will proceed for a 3-hour drive back to Dakar.
