Panama is the only country in the world where you can experience both the Caribbean sea and the Pacific Ocean. Your tour takes around one hour to get to the Centennial bridge to have a wonderful panoramic view of Gaillard cut (the narrow part of the canal) and Pedro Miguel Locks. We will then visit the Miraflores Locks exhibition center where you will learn about the history of the canal and how it has been operating during the last 100 years. then, your tour continues on through the city to see the historical Cathedral, monuments and the downtown district. You will see the amazing Colonial and Neoclassical architectural styles throughout the city. Later, the tour will go to Balboa avenue and you will observe the new city with the highest and modern building in Latinamerica,
Colon is one of Latin America's busiest commercial centers. Since 1953, it has had a free trade zone, where merchants can import and export goods without paying duties. The main streets of Colon are often crowded with sailors, traders, and tourists. The city has many bars, nightclubs, and gambling establishments. Colon also has duty-free shops, which sell many products at low prices.
