Many scenes are filmed inside and outside the Circle. In the episode La luna di carta the Commissioner enters the smoky rooms of the Club, among notables and rich people of Vigata playing cards, and meets the annoyed Pasquano who with fake courtesy and ironic jokes answers Montalbano's questions. - The Giardino Ibleo is located not far from the restaurant da Calogero. In Vigata the municipal garden becomes an elegant nursing home where Montalbano goes to the episode La luna di carta. In the tree-lined garden paths, the Commissioner meets an old thief who shows a key to find out what he can open.
