Surfing Lessons at Cerritos After meeting your guide on the pier, you will set off for Cerritos, approximately 50 minutes drive north along the Pacific coast. Here you will find a beautiful crescent beach with great waves as well as places to swim. Your surfing lesson will begin with instruction on the beach where you will learn the basics of body position, board control, and catching and riding a wave. Next you'll head into the water where your expert instructor will assist you in bringing it all together. Total lesson time is approximately 3 hours. You will then have approximately two hours of free time to continue practicing, go for a beach walk, grab a bite to eat at one of the nearby beach cafes, or just lie back on the sand and do nothing. Please Note: Due to surf conditions, this tour is only available from the middle of November until the middle of March.
