Description
Our first day, visit a lively Maeklong Train Market, colorful Damneon Saduak Floating Market, the Thailand–Burma Railway Centre (WWII Museum) to learn more about the history of the Second World War in Thailand and pay our respects at the Allied War Cemetery, commemorating the POW’s that passed away while building the railway. Visit The Bridge over the River Kwai, We stay overnight at the River Kwai to enjoy the fresh ozone and jungle air the area has to offer. Our second day, we explore the ‘Hellfire Pass Memorial’. This part of the railroad got its name from the ghostly shadows reflected on the rocks of malnourished POWs working at night by the light of campfires. After our lunch, is our historic train ride over the most important historical - landmark on the death railway, see the wooden bridge on the river kwai, scenic railroad where the original wooden bridge is located and after our train ride. we will continue to drive back to Bangkok with our great memories.
