If nature allows, spot Maui dolphins at play, fur seals sunning themselves on rocks and some 3,000 gannets giving birth at Otakamiro Point (August – April). We visit Bastion Point, get a glimpse of Maori history before heading to a cozy beach town away from mass tourism with great views of Rangitoto, Auckland's largest volcano and Browns Island.
