Description

Explore breathtaking fjord landscapes and the wildlife of the arctic while searching for the world’s largest mammal: the whale. In November to January the orcas, humpback whales and other whales gather in the fjords close to Alta for their big herring-feast. These gentle giants enjoy their "food platter", and to witness this remarkable sight will give you memories for life. And this experience does not end here. The area is also home to the arctic dolphins, the majestic sea eagle, with a wingspan up to 2.5 meter and other seabirds-species. The tour will take place in a comfortable 18 meters long boat with max capacity of 30 pax. Our captain and experienced guides will lead you safely through this adventure. Under the boat transfer to the hot-spot and in periods when the whales are diving, you can stay inside in the warm cabin and enjoy hot chocolate and snacks. Embark with us on an unforgettable winter adventure in the Norwegian fjords and bring back home memories for a lifetime.
