Only the holders of a valid B class drivers license are allowed to drive a snowmobile in Norway. You are required to present your license for verification before taking part on the ride. Guests without a valid driving license are only allowed to be passengers.
You will share a snowmobile with another passenger, so each of you will get to drive half of the trip.
The snowmobiling takes 2 hours of the experience. 1 hour is taken by driving from Alta to Gargia (that is 30min each way), and the remaining hour is used for safety briefing, dressing in thermal suits, showing how to drive and a short presentation about the evening.
