Description
Altea, one of the ten most beautiful towns in Spain and a refuge for artists, continues to be one of the most beautiful getaways in the province to this day. Its white houses and cobbled streets form a unique ensemble that has led it to belong to that list of beautiful towns, so much so that it is difficult to understand the fortress castle on which the new town was built in the 16th and 17th centuries. On the way back, passing through the always impressive Benidorm, we headed to La Vila Joiosa, a city born in the 14th century also on a fortress that marked the border of the kingdom of Valencia for a time. The uniqueness of its colored houses, heritage of the fishing industry, has led to a unique set that is today copied in numerous historic centers of many cities. To finish, we will visit a chocolate factory where we can not only learn about its production but also taste and buy this succulent product.
