Description

Taroudant is located in the Souss valley. It reflects an excellent impression of southern Morocco. The charm of its souks, and its ancient history makes it a little jewel. Upon arrival we visit the old Pasha's Palace, then continue the walk to the Medina till arriving at Assarag Square; a meeting place for the natives coming from the neighboring villages and the dwellers of the town. After the visit we continue to Tiout; located 20 mn away. A magnificent palm grove extending between several villages. On top of the hill; the kasbah of Tiout offers a stunning panoramic view with a contrast of both green and barren land. The best way to visit the palm grove is by hiring a donkey, an enjoyable way to help the locals and the economy of the village. Lunch on-site: Berber menu with very refined, delicious dishes. The trip back to Agadir will be through a different route for a change of scenery.
