The Disney Wonder was last renovated in November 2023 during a dry dock before its Australia/New Zealand season from Sydney and Auckland. This update included refreshed interiors with new carpeting and upholstery, technical maintenance to its diesel-electric systems, and a hull repaint in Disney’s livery. The Soul Cat Lounge was added, themed after Soul, enhancing its entertainment options. These changes kept the ship vibrant for its Pacific and Alaskan routes without major structural alterations. The next scheduled ship refurbishment will occur in August 2026. The Disney Wonder will undergo its next major refurbishment in August 2026, with work scheduled to take place just before its return to service in the Pacific. Past renovations have introduced the Frozen, A Musical Spectacular stage show and the Tiana’s Place restaurant; the 2026 dry dock will prioritize "backstage" efficiency in the galleys and a reimagined flow for the Beach Blanket Buffet. These updates are paired with a fleet-wide "soft" renovation that includes replacing every inch of carpeting and upgrading all guest mattresses to ensure the classic ship feels as premium as the newer builds.
