Compare 12 Nassau resort day passes from $75. Includes pricing, reviews, photos & distance from cruise port. Book your all-inclusive beach day in Bahamas.
The Nassau cruise port is one of the busiest cruise destinations in the Bahamas and a resort day pass is one of the best ways to spend your time at port. Instead of piecing together individual activities, you get all-inclusive access to a resort's beach, pools, food, and drinks for one fixed price.
We've cruised to the Bahamas many times and have done the "standard" tours. They're great. Nassau has stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, perfect weather, and fun people. But we've found that the most convenient way to enjoy everything Nassau has to offer is with a resort day pass.
Below, we compare every Nassau resort day pass option available to cruise passengers. We include pricing, ratings, amenities, and distance from the cruise port. You'll find everything that you need to make the best decision possible for your Nassau shore excursion!
Why choose a Resort for a Day Pass in Nassau?
There are a bunch of reasons for choosing a Nassau All Inclusive Day Pass. Here are our top few.
SAFETY
5.9 / 10 safety score
5.9 / 10 safety score
Nassau is generally considered safe for cruise passengers, but like any popular tourist destination, it's wise to stay aware of your surroundings. The main tourist areas around the port and Bay Street are well-patrolled, but venturing too far off the beaten path isn't recommended. Stick with reputable tour providers if you're exploring beyond the resort.
A resort is your best option if safety is a concern. You'll have no worries within the protected grounds of any option below. Security and privacy are valuable amenities at these resorts. You can relax knowing that your belongings and family are secure while you enjoy the beach, pool, and all-inclusive perks.

From our map below, you can see that all resorts are near your Nassau Cruise Port. Each option below includes transportation to and from the Terminal. Once on site, you'll be in complete relaxation for hours.
You'll have every amenity at your fingertips. No need to worry about haggling over price, finding food, renting beach chairs, etc. And you won't need to check your watch constantly to make sure your excursion provider will get you back on time. Your only inconvenience will be deciding which drink to order next. This is an easy "problem" to solve since drinks are all-inclusive.
EXPERIENCE

Most organized shore excursions are run by "mom and pop" shops. Many do a great job. But, they're not held to the same standards as the resort properties. When you're done with your snorkeling gear at the resort, they'll clean and sanitize the equipment. After a tour with "Lou's Snorkeling Fun Time," the gear might get a quick splash of Kalik before the next cruise passenger straps it on. This is a bit of an exaggeration, but hopefully you get where we're going. The resorts will likely have newer beach chairs, fresher towels, and cleaner restrooms.
COST
From $75 / adult
From $75 / adult
You'll see the cost of an all-inclusive day pass averages roughly $100 per person. You'll find two much cheaper options here.
And you'll get much more for the cost when compared to the average shore tour! A beach excursion includes many "hidden" costs. You might pay for beach access. Chair rentals will cost $20 per. Drink costs will likely be double that. Then you'll likely want to tack on events like kayaking or snorkeling.
You can easily spend $100 per person going "a la carte." And you'll likely leave a bit hungrier and "thirstier" than if the situation were all-inclusive. There's also an intangible value to the buffet style. The freedom to order whatever you want all day long is a huge bonus.
Cost Comparison: All Inclusive vs Other
A Nassau resort day pass can be purchased for as little as $75 per person. If that seems expensive, consider all of the incidentals with a normal excursion. You'll often purchase rental chairs, food, drink, and equipment rental. These can quickly add up to exceed a resort pass!
If you've gotten this far, we'll assume you're "all-in" for a resort day pass in Nassau, Bahamas. Good decision. You'll be happy with your decision!
Now we'll need to find the perfect day pass option. It will depend on your crew. Are you traveling with kids or are you on a romantic getaway? Are you hoping to get active or more interested in relaxing? Is price an important factor?
Below are amazing all inclusive options at Bahamas's best resorts. We've broken down each to show what's included so you know exactly what to expect.

Da'Pig Beach on Rose Island sits a short cruise from Nassau and centers on an up-close pig-swimming experience combined with a full beach day. Guests travel by boat to the island, interact with friendly pigs in the shallows, eat a traditional Bahamian lunch, and unwind on one of the most scenic stretches of sand in the Bahamas.
Board a boat from Nassau for a half-day trip to Rose Island, home to the Bahamas' celebrated swimming pigs. The 30-minute ride delivers guests to an exclusive beach club on an island ringed by clear turquoise water and white sand. Holders of the Swimming Pig day pass are collected inside the Nassau Bahamas Cruise Terminal. Two departure windows exist: a 9:20 AM EST option with return between 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM, or an 11:20 AM EST option with return by 4:15 PM. From the pier, a scenic boat ride reaches Rose Island. The designated meeting spot is at the pier (see pinned location). Pickup is normally by boat, though a brief bus transfer to the main departure dock may substitute when operations require it. Allow buffer time for the return, since weather or sea conditions can cause minor delays.
Day passes for Da'Pig Beach must be bought online. An email confirmation containing pass access details follows every purchase. Government-issued photo ID is required at check-in. Group bookings of 10 or more can reserve afternoon slots by contacting the day pass provider directly. Pickup is set for 9:20 AM EST at the cruise port; guests who chose the later departure during checkout will be picked up at 11:20 AM or 12:00 PM EST. Every participant must complete a safety waiver before boarding; parents or legal guardians sign on behalf of minors. Tour guides may capture photos and video of guests during the outing, which could appear on the company's social media channels for promotional use. Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Nassau resort day passes for cruise passengers.
How much does a Nassau resort day pass cost?
You're looking at roughly $75 per adult for most options. That typically covers all-inclusive food and drinks, beach and pool access, towels, and lounge chairs. Kids usually get a discounted rate, and some resorts let little ones in free.
Can I bring my kids to a Nassau resort day pass?
Absolutely! 8 of the 12 day pass options are family-friendly, including Margaritaville Beach Resort & Waterpark - Nassau, Baha Bay Waterpark at Baha Mar - Nassau, Paradise Island Beach Club, Margaritaville Beach Resort & Waterpark + Lunch, British Colonial, Nassau Weekday, Sip & Sea All-Inclusive Island Escape, Swim With the Pigs in Nassau!, British Colonial, Nassau Weekend. You'll typically find reduced pricing for children at these spots. Just be sure to check each resort's age policy before you book.
How do I get from the Nassau cruise port to the resort?
The easiest option is to grab a taxi right outside the cruise terminal. Nassau is a busy port so you'll have no trouble finding one. Most resorts are a short ride away, and some even include round-trip shuttle service with your day pass. If you're feeling adventurous, the local jitney buses are another cheap option for getting around. Just agree on the fare before you hop in the taxi.
Do I need to book my Nassau resort day pass in advance?
We'd strongly recommend it. Nassau is one of the busiest cruise ports in the Caribbean, and day passes can sell out fast, especially during peak season from December through April. Booking ahead locks in your spot and often gets you a better price. You can reserve online through the links in each resort listing above.
What is included in a Nassau resort day pass?
5 of the 12 resorts here are all-inclusive, meaning unlimited food and drinks are part of the deal. Beyond that, you can expect beach access, pool time (9 resorts have pools), lounge chairs, towels, and clean restrooms. Some resorts throw in extras like watersports or kids' activities. Spa treatments and cabana upgrades usually cost extra.
Is a Nassau resort day pass worth it?
In our experience, absolutely. Think about what a DIY beach day in Nassau actually costs: chair rental runs $25+, then you're buying lunch, a few cocktails, maybe renting snorkel gear. That adds up to well over $100 per person pretty quickly, and you're still dealing with the hassle of finding everything on your own. A day pass bundles it all into one price with resort-quality amenities, better service, and way less stress. It's hands-down the most relaxing way to spend your port day in Nassau.
We hope this post helps you to make the most of your time in Nassau.
