Description

Whale Watching Cruise Board your glass-bottom whale watching boat and be prepared for an amazing 2 hours on the water. The boat fits a maximum of only 14 people, ensuring you will have excellent views without the crowds, and will take you comfortably and quickly to the best spots to see the whales. From coming up for a breath and spouting to signify their presence, to a full body breach where the whale rockets out of the water, a close encounter with these majestic animals is something everyone needs to experience. The whales make their way south completing a migration that can be up to 6,000 miles long coming from places like Alaska and Siberia. Upon arriving in December they remain until April and then repeat their journey northward. An ideal climate, shallow waters, salinity and abundant marine life make the bays and lagoons north of Los Cabos the perfect place for whales. Of the 11 species of whales found worldwide, eight venture to the waters off Los Cabos, including minke, sperm, Bryde's, finback, sei, humpback, gray and blue. This six-month, round-trip sojourn is the longest trip made by any animal in the world. Orcas and bottlenose dolphins also love to swim in these waters, and when the water is clear you may also spot giant manta rays just below the surface. Baja is home to two world heritage sites that protect the whales and the surrounding environment, making this area perfect for the whales to give birth and begin rearing their calves. Come see these amazing animals yourself and enjoy a front-row seat to one of nature's greatest shows. Upon the return to shore you will also be provided with shopping time in Cabo San Lucas before you are returned to the pier area and your ship. Please Note: This tour features 2 hours of whale watching and 2 hours of shopping in Cabo San Lucas.
