Dover is the port city for London, England. Its famous white cliffs have inspired songs and have been a welcome-home sight for returning Brits. Your trip to London takes you through the gorgeous countryside of Kent, where many of England's well-to-do keep fabulous country estates. Nanortalik includes some of Greenland's most beautiful fjords, the country's only natural forest and dramatic, rugged mountains. Frozen, gleaming white fjords and glaciers, looming icebergs, pale green fields dotted with sheep farms and towns of brightly painted blue, red, yellow, green and white houses are the hallmarks of Southern Greenland, and especially Qaqortoq, the 'White Palace'',one of the region's largest villages. Greenland's only fountain splashes gently in a pleasant square while the harbour is alive with locals bringing in the day's catch.

Adventurous travelers will cherish their experience in St. John's, the capital of Newfoundland and Labrador. If it's art and culture you seek, you'll find it in spades, with options ranging from Atlantic Canada's largest university to the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra. St. Pierre, lying off the shores of Newfoundland and first claimed by France in the 1500s, represents the only French holding left in North America. Explore St. Pierre's quaint village of brightly colored houses and rural fishing communities, then embark Le Levant and watch for whales and puffins as the ship sails into the late-setting sun.

Quebec City is the capital of Canada's province of the same name. Most of the city's residents speak French and are Roman Catholic. Important cultural institutions in the city include Laval University, the concert hall, and the Grand Theatre. Winter sports are popular, especially ice hockey and skiing. Popular events include the 3-week-long Winter Carnival and the Provincial Exhibition.

Montreal, the heart of French Canada, is a city full of wonders. The downtown is a mixture of modern towers and Victorian architecture. Visit any of the area's countless museums. Shop on St. Catherine Street and Sherbrooke Street West. The Old Port and Old Montreal are located between the river and city center, and boast an array of museums, boutiques, and sidewalk cafes.
