Manta is the third largest city in Ecuador. The port city boasts some wonderful beaches. The Malecon Escencio is a strip of restaurants and shops right on the water, and attracts many locals and visitors. The local seafood is said to be quite good--and cheap, too. The legendary Panama Hats, locals say, are not actually from Panama, but from Montecristi, a village just 10 minutes away from Manta.

Nassau/Paradise Island is the capital of the Bahamas. Explore Parliament Square, the government center that dates back to the early 1800s or check out the port's vibrant night life, including more casinos, theatres, and fabulous cuisine than you could possibly fit into a short stay. Southampton is the gateway to the immensely civilized city of London. There are museums to visit, pubs to try, and shops to browse, ranging from Harrods to open-air markets.
