Renovations included the following: In April 2020, the Carnival Sensation went into dry dock. The ship was refurbished with technical improvements. Cosmetic upgrades included new carpets and tiling. In 2017, the Carnival Sensation was refurbished and received a significant upgrade. Newly added features include Guy’s Burger Joint, Blue Iguana Cantina, Alchemy Bar, and Cherry On Top Ice Cream Shop, and Red Frog Rum Bar. The ship will be going into dry-dock again in January, 2020.
